What is body strong yoga?

Body strong yoga is a simple practice with asana geared towards strength. This is not a class focused on advanced asana but it is meant to help you build the strength and stability to continue to evolve your practice. As a woman and a yogi i have found that i need bodily strength in my life.. and i just can’t convince myself to go the traditional rout of lifting weights etc. I want something beautiful full of spirit and soul that also happens to be great for my physical strength. This class is great for people who have a busy schedule and are always trying to pick between working out and doing yoga and meditating. Hopefully we can meet all those needs in one class !! This class is absolutely appropriate for beginners as we will not be doing complex asana. The essential things you need are an open heart and mind and a willingness to get a little sweaty in yoga!


*this is a class we will be building so we will start out a little slower to allow time to grow at your own pace! and don’t worry 1 hour of sweatiness and 30 min of cool down.
